James has worked as a professional photographer for over ten years. Although accomplished in many photographic genres, his greatest passion is for documentary and feature.

James likes to spend time understanding and empathising with his subject; finding that this forms an essential part of the process to capture the perfect image to portray a story.

After twenty years’ learning specialist skills and studying techniques, James is keen to push ideas and explore their maximum potential to be creative. He has been published in many National and International Publications and in 1999 took a full time position with one of Britain’s leading regional newspapers.
