My Philosophy

"I carry out my work by meeting people and capturing an essence of their lives in a photograph. I like to cover subjects that are not orthodox and uncover worlds that are rarely seen. These images evoke emotion in the viewer and can provide a source of education into different social groups.

My most recent exhibition, which toured through the East of England during 2006, is a photographic documentary about the lives of ordinary Romanian people who struggle to deal with life, society and survival. The pictures show how people live in deprivation and make the best use of their resources. These are everyday people who live day to day, by what ever means they can."
